Wow, Deus Ex, it's been a while. I still remember playing the original Deus Ex back in the day, and much of what made the original so memorable has survived to this latest iteration - with a few impressive improvements along the way.
I really enjoyed its open design, exploration rewards, and also its new compelling narrative structure. A big surprise was the intimate interogation/persuasion mechanic. Those sequences added a new dimension to the gameplay and were engaging. More than combat, I felt like I actually interacted with and affected the game world.
Whether that feeling was perceived or actual, I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed myself with Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Can't wait for the next instalment!
